Green Cleaning Workshop
It's unfortunate that we even have to think about this, but most of the typical cleaning products available in American stores are ones that contain harmful chemicals (most of which have been banned in Europe!). Come learn what you can do to avoid such chemicals in the products you buy and how to MAKE YOUR OWN cleaning products (thereby saving money and excess plastic and shipping costs)!
Our guest speaker is Leslie Reichert, the Cleaning Coach (a local green cleaning expert who has been featured on television and online for her simple approach to using healthy cleaning methods). Her new book, The Joy of Green Cleaning will be available for purchase for 20% off after the workshop for workshop participants and she'll be available to sign your copy of the book.
You'll leave with an all-purpose cleaner, a liquid scrub and a tip sheet with recipes, so you can go right home and get started. Whew, just in time for Spring Cleaning!
We are scheduling one for an evening in March or April...the February date has been postponed. $15 per family
Registration in advance is recommended so Leslie can bring enough materials for every family to make their own cleaners.
