Natural Childbirth
The most comprehensive class in the region! Everyone also says it's actually fun--as it should be, you're having a baby, after all!
Learn more about preparing for an unmedicated birth experience (hospital, birth center, or homebirth) by combining the wisdom of pioneers in the natural childbirth movement like Fernand Lamaze, Robert Bradley, and Ina May Gaskin to form your own philosophy for your birth. This class covers all the information from the Prepared Childbirth class with more time and emphasis on natural pain coping techniques such as deep relaxation, visualization, positions and movement, and massage in preparation for labor and birth. Please dress comfortably and bring two pillows and two blankets or large towels for activities on the floor.
Two-Sunday Classes
March 14 and 21, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm both days. FULL
April 18 and 25, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm both days. $200 per couple.
May 23 and 30, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm both days. $200 per couple.
Six-week Classes
Thursdays, March 11 - April 15, 6:30 - 9:00 pm, $175 per couple.
